Woman loses finger in brutal mall stabbing
Toronto — A 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly attacking his estranged wife with a knife while she was walking through the parking lot of Fairview Mall with her six-year-old son Sunday.
Toronto Police said the woman was approached by her husband around 10 a.m. and repeatedly stabbed while her son looked on.
Witnesses to the attack dragged the bleeding woman to safety while others held the man until police arrived.
The woman lost a finger in the attack and remains in hospital recovering from emergency surgery.
Rajamohan Subramaniam has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder.
